Return Policy

At Dana's Goldsmithing Inc. we are dedicated to providing our customers with exemplary customer service and satisfaction.   If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return your item in its original condition and packaging including all original documentation (if applicable) within 7 days of the date purchased (date received for online orders) for a full refund and 30 days for exchange.  If the item has been modified or is not in resale condition it will not be eligible for refund or exchange.  Items discounted thirty percent or more are Final Sale.

Online purchases may be returned to the Dana's Goldsmithing store after obtaining a Return Authorization number.  To obtain a return authorization number please email office@danas.ca or call the store at (905)985-2953 during regular business hours.

All return shipping charges must be prepaid.  We will not accept C.O.D deliveries.

There are certain costs that are not refundable on returns as well as some items that are final sale.  These include but are not restricted to:

  • Shipping charges - the original shipping charge is non-refundable
  • Shipping charges to return the item for a refund is at the customer's expense
  • Special ordered items, custom or altered items (such as engraving or sizing) are considered Final Sale.

Diamond product returns must include the appraisal/authenticity certificates where applicable or a fee of $50 will be deducted from the refund.  This fee is to cover costs we will incur to obtain new documentation for resale of the item.

Within 3-4 days an email confirmation will be sent to you that we have received the item and that your refund/exchange will be processed.  Please allow one monthly billing cycle for your credit to appear.  Your refund receipt will be emailed to you.

Steps to return an item:

Returns by mail

  1. If you wish to return an item email us as office@danas.ca or call Dana's Goldsmithing at 905-985-2953 during regular business hours to obtain a Return Authorization number.
  2. Pack the item securely. Enclose item in its original box and enclose the original or a copy of the packing slip. Make sure to also enclose any documentation such as diamond authenticity, appraisal, instruction booklets, etc.
  3. If you do not have the original packing slip, please provide us with your name, address, phone number and email address.
  4. All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We will not accept C.O.D. deliveries.
  5. For your protection, we recommend that you use FedEx, UPS, or Canada Post Priority post with signature required upon delivery. Ship the return package to the address indicated on the packing slip:

  1. Keep the Return tracking number from the package to ensure that the package is returned.
  2. You can expect a refund within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. Refunds will be credited to the same form of payment used in your original purchase.  Please note that your original shipping and handling or other additional costs will not be refunded.

  1. If you wish to return an item email us at office@danas.ca or call Dana's Goldsmithing Inc. at 905-985-2953 during regular business hours to obtain a Return Authorization number.
  2. Place the item securely in the original package.
  3. Enclose the original packing slip with the item. If you no longer have the packing slip, bring a copy of shipping confirmation email or online purchase receipt.  Make sure to also enclose any documentation such as diamond authenticity, appraisal, instruction booklets, etc.
  4. Bring package to Dana's Goldsmithing Inc. at 186 Queen Street, Port Perry, ON L9L 1B8
  5. The store associate will process your return or exchange. Refund will be credited to the same form of payment in your original purchase.  Please allow 30 days for the credit to appear on your billing statement.  Please note that your original shipping and handling or other additional costs will not be refunded.
